“Mi parli di lei” – Teatro dell’Argine
We support Teatro dell’Argine by partnering in the ‘Mi parli di lei’ (Tell me about yourself) project, strategies for gaining attention.
Fondazione Marchesini ACT is collaborating with Teatro dell’Argine for the new ‘Mi parli di lei’ project aimed at class groups to enhance students’ communication skills.
Presenting a report before a committee of teachers – perhaps in an examination – is a moment that every student encounters in their school or university career.
This is why there is a need to be able to speak in public, and theatrical tools can help to develop this ability in an engaging and interactive way, while also teaching people to manage their physical presence, including their voice, intonation and the way they stand before their audience.
The initiative includes a public speaking workshop for nine V classes and one IV class at the Istituto Majorana in San Lazzaro di Savena to enable girls and boys to learn how to communicate effectively in different contexts and in front of different audiences.
The workshops will be conducted by specialised operators of the Compagnia Teatro dell’Argine during the 2022-23 school year.
“Tell me about yourself” is a loaded question that everyone has heard at one time or another during a job interview. We are trying to respond by working on the ability to communicate in public with Teatro dell’Argine’s new project: ‘Mi parli di lei’.
