“The Social Chicken Coop”: a therapeutic and inclusive space

The Fondazione Marchesini ACT supports the project “The Social Chicken Coop,” promoted by the Cooperativa 2A Social in collaboration with Seacoop, local businesses, volunteers, and the Municipality of Castenaso.

The “Social Chicken Coop” is a therapeutic and inclusive space aimed at job training and social integration for young people with disabilities who are unemployed and wish to contribute, feeling useful, recognized, and valued.

The project involves individuals with disabilities who, every day, take care of laying hens, managing feeding, cleaning the coop, collecting eggs, and interacting with those who purchase the products, all within a welcoming and socially stimulating environment.

The goal of the project is to offer a path of training and personal growth, allowing participants to develop practical and relational skills in a space that fosters autonomy, self-confidence, and personal fulfillment
